Waseela Taleem program- Punjab students to receive a monthly stipend of Rs 3000

After a huge success of other educational scholarship initiatives, the Punjab government has recently announced to offer a monthly stipend of Rs 3000 for girls and Rs 2,500 for boys under Waseela Taleem Program.

On Saturday, the Punjab government announced that a monthly stipend of Rs 3,000 for girls and Rs 2,500 for boys studying in state-run high schools will be provided.

According to local media outlet reports, the Punjab government has also given the authorization to the Department of School Education to enter into an arrangement with the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).

Additionally, the students in the country\’s largest province will get stipends as part of the PTI major educational initiative.

These stipends will be available to secondary students at government educational institutions from grade six to tenth.

Moreover, the students enrolled in private schools are not eligible for these monthly incentives, which will be distributed only among the students of the public sector institutions.

Waseela Taleem Programme is a great initiative taken by the Punjab government to provide stipends to the students enrolled in public sector schools.
