it is an Urdu/ Persian word which means rebirth and recycle. It aims to provide livelihood to most neglected community of Pakistan that are transgender. Its mission is to use fabric waste which otherwise goes in landfill are very hazardous. It is based on triple bottom line approach of people – planet – profit for people. We have chosen transgender community which is the most neglected community of Pakistan and we will be using textile waste to manufacture jewelry, stationery and other decoration items and sell it through social media platform. Now after 8 months with three members we have made this project functional with the support of Akhuwat and Fountain House which have given us space facility and Step Institute of Art and Designe which have provided training and technical support for the project. We have now moved to Fountain house for the production. The seed money we received, have been invested in procurement of machines and other stitching accessories also material and stipends during the training.
