Apple has opened a store in the United States with over 200 individual parts and tools that can be used to repair the iPhone 12, iPhone 13, and third-generation iPhone SE.
“Later this year the program will also include manuals, parts, and tools to perform repairs on Mac computers with Apple silicon,” said the company.

Although the necessary parts are costly, the manufacturer will give you a credit for a cheaper price if you return the replaced iPhone part for recycling. Apple will also offer DIY repairs such as “tool rental kits for $49, so that customers who do not want to purchase tools for a single repair still have access to these professional repair tools”.
The kits will be shipped to customers free of cost. The iPhone maker promises that all the tools “are custom-designed to help provide the best repairs for Apple products, and are engineered to withstand the rigours of high-volume, professional repair operations where safety and reliability are the utmost priority”.
According to PC Mag, Apple will require a system configuration by the end of the year, which will be accomplished using genuine Apple parts.
