With a keyboard accessory, Apple’s iPad becomes macOS

The US Patent and Trademark Office has given Apple Inc a new patent that adds a new hinged keyboard to the iPad with different installation options and better flexibility. According to the patent, the iPad might adopt a macOS user interface.

According to Patently Apple, the new accessory’s base piece could include a keyboard with electromechanical keys. The iPad will have a magnetically attached UI, and the keyboard hinge may support the Apple Pencil as well as additional peripherals such as a camera or microphone.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman predicted that Apple will develop an iPadOS Pro idea with numerous mac-like modes, and it appears that Apple is developing a MacBook/iPad hybrid tablet. Many people would appreciate the power of macOS on the iPad.
